Andrew Fitzpatrick
Director
ArcAirTech
From Customer to Director
My journey with ArcAirTech started as a customer. I purchased units for two of my pharmacies, wanting to protect both my staff and customers from communicable viruses. Our stores were in old Victorian buildings, which sometimes struggled with mould and a persistent damp smell.
Seeing how effectively ArcAirTech’s technology tackled these issues was a real eye-opener. I could immediately see the potential it had, not just for businesses, but for improving the health and wellbeing of individuals in their homes. That experience inspired me to join the team, and since then, I haven’t looked back.
Hearing the stories of families whose homes have been transformed by our units makes everything worthwhile. Dispensing medication can save lives, but so can a Fixed or Portable Arc, by removing contaminants like mould spores and giving people a truly safe and healthy environment.

Peter Herbertson

Advantage Energy Assessors
Bio:
Peter enjoyed 36 years’ service as an RAF navigator, including a ‘massively frustrating’ Whitehall tour. On retirement in 2006, he moved into training domestic energy assessors (DEAs).
A qualified retrofit coordinator& assessor, domestic energy assessor and airtightness tester, he has carried out thousands of surveys. As a consultant, he has trained approaching a thousand domestic energy assessors, estate agents and landlords. He was partner in an estate agency and has carried out on-site EPC audits for Ofgem. These audits highlighted systemic failings in the system which remain where “to qualify as a DEA, an A-level equivalent, takes three days training, submission of five unsupervised surveys and some simple tests. Subsequently, to upgrade as a retrofit assessor, a first-year university equivalent, takes under a week”.
A voice in the wilderness, Peter regards this training as grossly inadequate and has witnessed at first hand theUK’s energy industry dominated by profit at the expense of quality, failed by Whitehall’s lack of supervision andshort termism. The Government is pouring millions of taxpayers’ hard-earned money down the drain subsidising low-grade training that is often never used. Until semi-retirement, Peter specialised in advising landlords one-to-one how best to improve their EPC ratings and gain lower mortgages.
