Accreditation represents quality. It show a landlords is serious about setting, achieving and maintaining high standards.

What will happen on the DASH property visit?

The DASH inspector will visit the property at a time agreed by the tenant and look in each room and at any outdoor space.

The healthy homes check will ensure the property meets the standards set out in the DASH scheme manual

Approximately 2 weeks following the visit the landlord will receive a property improvement plan detailing the outcome of the visit.

Landlords are encouraged to attend these visits to gain as much information as possible especially when landlords are looking at gaining accreditation as soon as possible – this will help speed up the process if minor works are required.
