The Nottingham Standard is the over-arching standard for accreditation in Nottingham City.
There are two routes in which a landlord can achieve the Nottingham Standard kitemark –
· Landlords who let to students apply to gain the Nottingham Standard by joining Unipol Accreditation
· Non-Student landlords apply to gain the Nottingham Standard by joining DASH Landlord Accreditation
If you are a landlord in Nottingham City and wish to carry the ‘Nottingham Standard’ via DASH Landlord Accreditation or Unipol Student Homes then there will be fee.
Via DASH landlord Accreditation the fee for the ‘Nottingham Standard’ will be:
1 – 5 properties £95 + VAT
6 – 11 properties £160 + VAT
12 – 29 properties £380 + VAT
30 – 39 properties £500 + VAT
40+ properties price on application
Accreditation will last for up to 3 years and the fee is non-refundable.
DASH Landlord Accreditation cannot guarantee any discounts.
DASH is set up to recognise good landlords by giving a quality mark along with useful training and support over a 3 year period. There are a number of reasons why accreditation isn’t granted straight away and therefore we cannot guarantee a timescale to complete the process.
A useful example:
A landlord in Nottingham applies to gain the ‘Nottingham Standard’ via DASH landlord accreditation and pays DASH a fee of £95+vat.
Gaining a discount on their selective license was the key driver in joining DASH.
Accreditation needs to be granted by 1st Aug 2018 to qualify for a discount.
The landlord doesn’t complete the accreditation process in time and therefore doesn’t obtain the discount – in the case the accreditation fee would not be refunded.
