Charnwood Borough Council are hosting a Virtual Landlord Forum focussing on the Renter’s Rights Act 2025 on Tuesday, 21 April 2026 from 6pm until 7.30pm.

Landlords and Letting Agencies with properties in Leicestershire are invited to attend and find out more about the Renter’s Rights Act 2025.

During the forum we will be giving an overview of the new requirements, with several guest speakers.

The Agenda for the meeting will be as follows:

• Introduction from Helen Foster, Private Sector Housing Manager at Charnwood Borough Council
• The Renter’s Rights Act 2025 - A whistlestop tour by Decent and Safe Homes (DASH) and East Midlands Property Owners Association (EMPO). Speakers: Linda Cobb (DASH) and Hannah Cleaver (EMPO)
• Renter’s Rights Act Mediation Service - Speaker: Amy Foster (Leicestershire Citizens Advice Bureau)
• Landlord Incentives - Refugee Resettlement Team at Charnwood Borough Council
• The Bridge advice services – Speaker: Anna Maudsley from The Bridge (East Midlands)
