Midlands based housing company Futures Housing Company has recently launched a new leasing scheme which will benefit landlords, property owners and tenants alike.
Futures Homescape Limited will use special funding to secure properties from private landlords that are standing empty. Once this has been done the company will carry out the necessary repairs to ensure the properties are of a lettable standard and then take over the management of it for the next five years. At the end of the five-year period the property is returned to the private landlord.
